Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" (Polydor/Universal), from the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" soundtrack, started a second week atop the singles chart, on which Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" single (Columbia/Sony), featuring Bruno Mars, passed combined chart sales of one million.
Smith's album climbed back 4-1 for a sixth aggregate week at the top. It's been in the top ten for its entire 38-week chart run in his home country. Ed Sheeran'sX (Asylum/Warner Music) held at No. 2. Canadian rapper Drake scored an instant No. 3 entry following last Friday's surprise appearance of his new album If You're Reading This You're Too Late (Cash Money/Republic/Universal).
Irish four-piece Kodaline followed the No. 3 peak of their 2013 debut In A Perfect World with a No. 4 start for Coming Up For Air (B-Unique/RCA/Sony). Bob Dylan's No. 1 debut last week with Shadows In The Night (Columbia/Sony) was followed by a sharp descent to No. 9, while Gregory Porter's long-running Liquid Spirit (Blue Note/Universal) reached the U.K. top ten for the first time, climbing 14-10, after first charting 17 months ago.
Goulding's single held at No. 1 with combined chart sales of 118,000 and audio streams of 2.25 million, according to the Official Charts Company. Hozier's "Take Me To Church" (Universal Island) moved back 3-2 to trade places with the Ronson track, which is now the 158th single to cross the million-selling threshold, according to OCC data. Its total streams to date stand at 22.8 million.
Three singles debuted in the top ten, led by DJ Fresh's "Gravity" (Ministry of Sound), featuring Ella Eyre, at No. 4. "Ayo" (RCA/Sony) by Chris Brown andTyga followed at No. 6, and "Doing It" (Asylum/Warner) by Charli XCX featuringRita Ora at No. 8.
Goulding's chart-topper was joined in the top ten by another track from "Fifty Shades," as The Weeknd's "Earned It" climbed 18-10, while the Republic/Universal soundtrack for the new movie entered the compilation chart at No. 1.
